WINTER WEATHER
CAUTION
If Mother Nature
hands us some snow please be careful as you come into the parking lot. Watch for “black ice” please. We also ask that you use marked parking
spaces at all times. This is per the
Fire and Police Department for everyone’s safety.
Thank you for your
support regarding this matter.
NEW LOOK TO THE
BLDG/GROUNDS ENVELOPES
The monthly Bldg/Grounds
envelopes have a new look and are now in your packets with a green bar at the
top of the envelope. Rather than the Blue Envelope we have changed the color
because the purpose of the envelope has changed from its original purpose which
was to help build the new Church. Its
purpose now is the maintenance of the building/grounds. As stated in our Financial Report the past
few years, this monthly envelope helps us cover the cost of unexpected repairs
to our building and grounds that are not in our current budget.
We are now 10 + years old
already at our new home and “wear and tear” happens just like for all of us at
our homes. This envelope donation has
paid for air conditioning/heating units that have had many failures in the last
few years due to the fact that all 8 units are up on our rooftop and are prone
to hot weather in the summer, much rain and cold weather in the winter.
We have also had repairs in
the parish hall/gym area and in the lighting in the church.
Our parking lot has been
resurfaced, relined, etc and the spring yard work/mulching and lawn cutting is
also costly as we maintain our grounds.
We continue to ask you all to
be as generous as possible and give to this worthy and necessary monthly
collection. Thank you for your support!
NEW PARISH
The Good Steward
Committee and the Pastoral Council bring to your attention the new mission
statement of the parish found on the top of the inside page of our weekly
bulletin. It focuses on the goal that
each of us strive to be ever more conscious of all God’s gifts to us and to
make every effort to grow those gifts in our lives. We desire to become a parish of good
stewards.
RCIA
Have you ever wondered what the Catholic Church is all
about? Have you been attending Mass with
your spouse or a friend, but haven’t fully participated because you come from a
different faith tradition or no religious tradition? Were you baptized in the Church but for some
reason never received the other sacraments? RCIA
is the process by which people explore the Catholic faith or continue the
sacramental process started but not completed as a child. For more information, please contact Deacon Ray
Wheeler @ 883-0757, ext. 5.
Want
To Join The Parish . . .
If you’ve been worshiping with us for a
while and feel the Lord may be calling you to become a part of our parish
family, know that we would be very happy to welcome you! Please take a registration form from the wall
folders in the Narthex and return it to the Parish Office by mail or place it
in the collection basket at
ADDRESS
CHANGE INFORMATION
In order to keep our records up to date would you be
so kind to let the office know if your address has changed. You can call the office at 883-0757, x-2,
drop the info in the collection basket or mail it to the church address. This is also a way to be cost effective
because when we send out mailings and your address changes it is returned here
to the parish and then we must send it again to the correct address. Thanks!!!

We have our irrigation system right along the edge of the curbing area. We have had to have replacements due to broken sprinkler heads in the past. A reminder of this message will be placed on any vehicle that does not heed this special announcement and thank you for your cooperation.
