Christ is the Good Shepard who heals our wounds of today to get us ready for tomorrow.

There is grace in moments of redemption. The Lord's mercy and forgiveness are available to us at any moment. We only have to ask for it.

(Deacon Ray) From time to time we shake in the winds of doubt and need to look upon his wounds and hear his voice saying to us "Cease Doubting and believe!".

Easter Sunday! He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!

The palm helps us remember that we are a disciples and a source of peace.

Who will throw the first stone? Jesus frees the woman from her sin and offers her redemption. The Kingdom of God is the land of beginning again. We're saved from all the old stuff and begin again. Do we appreciate the mercy of God that gives us second chances? Do we in turn give second chances to others?

God wants us home. All we have to do is accept the fact that we want to go home and tell him.

(Deacon Roland) What can we do to bring more people to church? We should be like Jesus and approach those that are 'unapproachable' or different. Make a friend. Be like Christ in this world.

There is a depth to our life that we need to remember!

Jesus is tempted by the Devil

Jesus says now is the acceptable time. Now is the day for salvation. Change!

(Deacon Ray) Although the lessons of Jesus are challenging, they give us the pathway and steps to take for our journey to him.

(Deacon Roland) Jesus is teaching out of his own experience to raise our eyes and heart to God when we fall on hard times. God is there when we are poor, grieving, and hungry both physically and spiritually. We only need to raise our eyes, our heart, and our mind to God and ask for strength to carry on in the face of poverty, persecution, grief, and hunger.

(Fr. Paul Montminy) God says where two or more are gathered in his name there I am in your midst. The encounter with God can be life-changing if we open our eyes, our hearts and our minds. It is God’s hope that we will become more kind, compassionate, caring, merciful, forgiving, and gentle.

Agape love is a self-giving, self-emptying, self-sacrificing love for another person. God’s love for us is agape love and that self-sacrificing, self-giving, self-emptying is love we must give to others if we are to be a disciple of Christ.

What are your gifts and what are you doing with them? God has given each of us certain gifts. We must use these gifts to the best of our ability within our families, civic community and church. If we don’t, things won’t work like they are supposed to. It takes all of us working together to succeed.

(Deacon Roland) What could Jesus do for us? Jesus touches water and performs a miracle by turning it into the sweetest tasting wine. Imagine if we allow Jesus to enter into our lives and to touch our hearts what miracles we might witness.

Are we choosing to do the work of God? Christ didn’t need to be baptized because he was sinless. He was baptized so he could dedicate himself to fulfill the will of the Father. In baptism, we receive the Life of Christ, and we, too, should dedicate ourselves to fulfilling the will of the Father.

What is your GPS? Everyone has a personal GPS to guide them in the right direction and lead them down the right path in life. The star above Bethlehem was the first GPS, and it lead the Wise Men to the crèche where everyone was welcome. When we’re at the crèche and don’t recognize others as our Brothers, Sisters, and Equals, we have misunderstood the whole meaning of Jesus’s coming.

During this time of year, we see people completing acts of kindness but Bishop challenges us to continue these acts of kindness throughout the year. Acts of kindnes that include being peacemakers and forgiving.
