We love one another, we have everything we need, but why are we not joyful? We will not find peace until we accept this bread of live. Jesus brings us the deepest joy, the deepest peace, the deepest love we can image.

(Fr. Damien from Nigeria) The power of God provides us more than we need. The Eucharist is the ultimate gift and is readily available to us. Our mission on earth is to do good works. Our contribution matters. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

(Deacon Ray) To care for the well being of others is a sign of our sprititual well being. For it is when we care that we are living the gospel.

Have a blessed day - may you be touched by God's love today. Everyday is blessed. God has blessed us with immeasurable gifts. He does this for us each and everyday - our lives, our families, our work, food, shelter, etc are all gifts from God. Jesus tells us "I will be with you Always, until the end of the age".

Transformational envy is one of the seven deadly sins because it kills us inside - eating away at us, preventing from seeing our own goodness and talents. We're so busy looking at others, we can't see who we are, or the joy God wants for ourselves.

We don't have to be number One. God's given each unique talents and a role to play. As long as we use these talents fully, it is pleasing to God. It's OK if we're not #1, we're doing what God wants us to do. Ask God for the grace to learn from John the Baptist that we don't have to be number one, and that's OK.

(Deacon Roland) Sometimes trying to know God's word is a riddle. St Ignatius teaches us that we have two points in our spiritual lives - Consolation and Desolation. We are searching and asking, and redeveloping that spiritual relationship with God.

Jesus is a man of mercy and there are so many wonderful examples of this in scripture (i.e. lost sheep, Prodigal Son). . But today, He speaks about the everlasting sin against the Holy Spirit. This refers to any sin we commit where we refuse to admit, through our pride or desire to be our own God, that we've sinned, and refuse to ask God for forgiveness. Sin against the Holy Spirit is any sin which goes unacknowledged and unrepented. God will forgive every sin if you bring it to Him and repent!

Today we celebrate Corpus Christi - the risen Christ and the presence of Christ in the bread and wine of the Eucharist. We tend to take this for granted and need to remember that the living Christ Himself is here as we gather in the Church, present in the Eucharist, gathering us to Himself. We should throw away our constraints, shout out in Joy, and dance in the rain that God is with us! My flesh is real food, My blood is real drink. Whoever feeds on Me will have life because of Me.

The power of the Holy Spirit works in two ways - first, like a fireball with a great outpouring (e.g Pentecost), second in a controlled quiet way within us everyday. If we are living in the Spirit, the Spirit produces certain fruits in us - Love, Peace, Joy, Generosity, Faithfulness, etc. If you see these things in your life, you're living in the Spirit. If you live with immorality, lust, idolatry, sorcery, you are not living in the Spirit.

What governs our lives and our choices? What are our reality principles? Do we make choices contrary to the Kingdom of God?

(Deacon Ray) What the world needs now is Love. "As the Father has loved Me, so I love you!". God assures us that You and I are loved by Jesus the same way, and to the same extent, that Jesus is loved by God the Father. Jesus commands that we love one another. Don't take me yet, I haven't loved enough.

(Deacon Roland) Are you a Jesus nut? Do you check in with Jesus first thing every day, the way that helicopter pilots check the Jesus Nut that holds the rotor to their aircraft's motor every time they prepare for takeoff? It's just as important.

(Msgr. Eddy Bisson) We can live for others in our lives, just as Jesus does for us as the Good Shepherd.

(Deacon Ray) The hands can tell a lot about a person. Such is the case with Jesus, whose hands -- which still bore the wounds of his crucifixion -- were proof of his love for Thomas, the disciples and for us.

(Msgr. Eddy Bisson) The prisons of our guilt, fears and insecurities can be even more confining and limiting than those made of concrete and steel.The apostles were held captive by their fear after Jesus' death, but Jesus appears and breaks down their prison walls with one word: Shalom. Peace.

(Msgr. Eddy Bisson) Oh, what a beautiful morning! Easter is the most beautiful morning of every Christian's life.

(Deacon Roland) What is Jesus' desire and passion? It is us! Do we have the same passion for Jesus or do we let the passions of the world take over and deny Him? Would we be the crowd welcoming him into Jerusalem, or are we in the crowd denying him, yelling "crucify Him"?

(Rev. Msgr. Eddy Bisson) By living our faith, we give others the opportunity to see Jesus. Imagine a world full of love! God will empower you to know Him and to love Him according to His will. Jesus teaches us to live according to the living law of love. He does not require us to live any lesson that He Himself was not willing to live. We respond by mirroring Jesus!

(Deacon Ray) Faith is a gift freely given by God, and graciously offered to all. But like any gift, it must be accepted, embraced and nurtured. It is not a one time event, but a day to day commitment. God has given us the gift of His life, His love, His goodness. We are born again with this gift in our Baptism, but it is up to us to accept this gift, or let it die.
