Jesus' final words to us, His disciples - have faith in God and have faith also in Me. I am the way, the truth, and the light.

Jesus comes to lead us to more abundant life of justice, love and peace.

Like the travelers on the road to Emmaus, Jesus walks with us and makes Himself known in the breaking of the bread (Eucharist).

(Deacon Ray) Easy to be a person of faith when all goes well. Much less easy when things don't go well

Easter Sunday: The Lord has risen, He is risen indeed!

The defeat of sin is death. Nothing is more important than the death and rising of Jesus Christ

Death is the final enemy. Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life

(Deacon Roland) Jesus is our strength - don't be fearful to let the world know about Him. Let His word flow from our mouths and His love flow free from our hearts. Ask Jesus for the courage to let go of our fear.

If we want to know what God is like, we only need to look at Jesus. When we see Him, we see the Father.

The fulfillment of God's revelation is found in Jesus. The old covenant laws and the prophets were all meant to lead to Him.

What or whom do we serve? Don't forget that "I am God"

(Deacon Roland) In God we trust - let go of your life and trust in God

Be careful about payback - vengeance and perpetuating violence. When you return evil for evil, you don't change anything.

Good just laws can prohibit us from doing wrong, but cannot make us do good.

We have to be salt & light and live truthfully in how we act and who we are. So people know that God created everything, and sent Christ into the world to save us.

The beatitudes - attitudes of the heart that reflect the Kingdom of God.

(Deacon Ray) It was through His good deeds that Christ revealed the light of God to the people.

For good to conquer evil, the good must stand up and be counted.
