Our task is to plant seeds of kindness, respect for others, understanding, helping others, goodwill, love, prayer for God. We don't know when these seeds will take root and grow, but small beginnings can have unimaginable results through the power of God

Have we lost the wonder and awe of our faith? Do we understand the great gift that we have been given? If we just go through the motions and forget what we are celebrating in mass, we will miss so much. Jesus said "Whoever drinks my blood and eats my flesh will live forever", does that not bring you joy?

The core of our faith - the mystery of the trinity - Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Equal in majesty, but one God

The holy spirit is with us always, and gives us the strength to witness and live the good news.

Because God loves us, we must love one another. We know if we are loving one another by looking at the things we do and the choices we make.

You and I are called to love one another with a sacrificial, unselfish love - to lay down our life everyday for one another. That's what identifies us as Christians. Mother’s Day

I asked Jesus how much He loved me - He stretched out his arms and said this much, and died. He loved us in deed. To truly love one another, love one another in deed, in what we do and in truth, not in word or in thought

We are saved not by the physical death of Jesus, but by the absoluteness of the love which did not count death to high a price. Jesus suffered and died for us because he considered us worth it!

The core meaning of Easter - God has raised up Jesus Christ - bodily from the dead. This proves that God accepted His sacrifice on our behalf. This proves that everything He said was true - everyone of us is precious to God and our sins are forgiven; the secret to joy in life is loving one another, make a difference in the life of someone else. This proves God affirms the goodness of the material world He created.

As Jesus appears to his disciples, they were likely filled with shame and maybe fear of what he would do - they had abandoned him, denied him, left them. He says to them "Peace be with you". Jesus is saying to you and to me today, Shalom, Peace - you are mine, I claim you as my own, I forgive everything you have done, let the past be the past. This same mercy is available to you and me - undeserved, unearned, given by God. He never gives up on us. Rejoice in Christ's love.

The stone has been rolled back. Jesus has broke out of the tomb. It's victory day for him and you and me. The source of our ultimate joy is when the stone is rolled over your tomb, Christ will break you out as he himself has broken out! Victory day for you!

If we doubt God's love for us, look up at the cross. Radiating from that cross is his compassion for you; his love for you, his desire for your salvation. There is no greater proof of God's love for us more than the cross. It should signify "God loves me".

We worry about so much in our life. How often do we worry about our relationship with Christ? About being a servant to Christ? Christ died thinking about us. In all our worries and troubles, let us worry about pleasing and serving Christ.

John 3:16 & John 3:17 summarize the good news of Jesus. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that we will have eternal life.
God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but that the world might be saved through him Jesus is our lifeline. In this age of anxiety, these verses are a lifeline for us. We are precious sons and daughters of God. He loves you, he sent his Son for you, and he died for you.

The ten commandments were not meant to curtail us from doing what we want, but meant as lifesavers - to prevent us from destroying ourselves, our society and one another
