Pauline Porder

Pauline (Morin) Porder was born in Lowell, Mass., in 1928. She married her late husband, Charles, in Newton, Mass, July 1972. Pauline moved to Nashua in 1987 after Charles passed away. They had no children. Shortly thereafter, Pauline became member of our parish. She has been a member of St. Joseph Parish for 24 years.

Pauline worked as a Bookkeeper/Secretary before retiring in 1976. Her late husband owned a dress manufacturing company in Lowell.

Pauline has grown God's gifts in the following ways within our community:

  • St. Joseph Hospital volunteer: 22 years. This past April, Pauline was awarded the 5,000 hours of volunteerism pin at St. Joseph Hospital. She has volunteered over the years in the Breast Care Center, Endoscopy, Administrative floater, clerical work, Human Resources and occasionally in the Crafts Department making items for the prenatal and cancer centers. She has also done one on one volunteering giving rides and comfort to Millie (another volunteer) for several years until she passed.

  • On Call Volunteer R.S.V.P. (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) in the early '90s

  • Library Volunteer, Fairgrounds Elementary School

  • Volunteer, Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Newton Mass.

Our parish gratefully recognizes all that Pauline has done and continues to do to build up God's Kingdom among us and asks God's blessings upon her.
