A 6,000-Pound Journey of Faith

This week was all about our new baptismal font! It arrived from Graniteville, Vermont, weighing an incredible 2,700 pounds after machining. It began its journey as a massive 6,000-pound block of stone measuring 56" x 56" x 24" — and has now been transformed into a beautiful and lasting part of our worship space.

A few other updates around the church: our refurbished sconces are back in place above the Stations of the Cross while we await the arrival of the new fixtures in October. And the displays are back up in the Narthex, bringing our familiar touches back to the space.

Another exciting week in the transformation of our parish home! 🙏✨
